Susan Lee Lilliman was born on December 28, 1946 to Keith and Margaret Lilliman.

Sue graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1964.

On August 8, 1969 Susan Lee Lilliman married Lowell Frederick Turner.

Sue began teaching in 1970 at Sanislo Elementary where she remained until retirement.
sue knew from a young age that she would become a teacher. it was her passion and her purpose.

Better together, Sue & Bud had a vision and made it happen: SCATs
Introducing and teaching circus arts skills allowed all students an alternative way to develop coordination, stay physically fit, and have fun at the same time. These non-traditional sports skills provided students of all ability levels, sizes, ages, and genders, the opportunity to experience success in physical education. The driving force behind SCATs was not just to have a platform where students could shine, gain confidence, and perform their skills in front of an audience, but rather to “reach the masses.” It’s simple… I am more apt to participate in things that I enjoy doing. If I have a terrible experience with something early in my life, chances are, I will avoid it later in life. Miz. T wanted every student to look forward to PE and experience success, because she wanted every student to incorporate fitness throughout their lives.

Sue & Bud expanded Team Turner in 1976 with Matt and in 1985 with Kalyn
